About us

I founded Bramsoak Build Consultancy to run alongside my successful construction and development company that I established in 2003 (Kamac Group). I have been immersed in the industry in one way or another my whole life; starting work in the family contracting business before going to Nottingham Trent University to study Construction Management and then setting up Kamac as a young twenty-something, excited to embark on my dream career.

20 years down the line, and I have a comprehensive back-catalogue of builds for clients and developers, from town houses and small developments, to impressive individual homes. I am proud to consider myself a valuable source of knowledge about all areas of construction, including planning, design, sustainability, budgeting and building.

My hands-on approach to running my projects has meant that I have a practical, working knowledge in all industry fields. I communicate confidently and knowledgeably with the various professionals and trades on site, which facilitates a collaborative working environment. I am also fortunate to have an established network of reliable and trusted skilled professionals – planners, architects, engineers and ecology experts – amongst others, who I can rely on to deliver on their promises.

I want to share my know-how with you as you embark on the exciting, but often daunting, self build adventure. I want my experience to be able to help you through your build, giving you knowledgeable and trustworthy advice. I can join you for every stage of the project, from pre-planning right the way through to opening the door of your finished home; or you can choose where my help would be most valuable.
